Back from the Pacific Northwest

I just had a fantastic experience teaching Abstract Painting at the Pacific Northwest Art School on Whidbey Island in Washington. Here are a few video clips of the event:

And a few pictures:

We will be doing some of the same activities in Expressive Collage at Omega in September.  I will also be returning to Pacific Northwest Art School in May (4 - 10), teaching Abstract Painting (a different version), as well as a two-day workshop on Monoprint Collage using the gel plate.

Music in the video is by Podington Bear (I think I misspelled it in the credit - sorry, Podington with one d).

  2. Jane - what a pleasure to experience your teaching in person. I look forward to being with you next year at the Pacific NW Art School and perhaps sooner.

    p.s. I've been painting non-stop since I got home!

  6. Looks like you had a fabulous workshop and a fun time had by all (I have heard such positive feedback!!). And what a beautiful setting. I am so sorry I had to miss both your class and the opportunity to meet some of the online friends I had made in your classes ... maybe next time. In the meantime I am (still!) loving your DVD and will perhaps 'see' you again in one of your online classes.

  7. Thanks so much for posting this Jane. I loved watching the artists at work and enjoyed the comments and their finished pieces. Oh to take one of your classes -- someday, one day......

I have had some spam comments lately, advertising of stupid stuff. So I am moderating comments until I can figure out a better way to prevent spam. THANKS!
