|To keep your brushes clean, keep a sponge soaked in alcohol in a plastic container. Get the main guck off your brush with a paper towel, rinse in H2O, then wipe thoroughly on the sponge.|
|If there is a materials fee for the class (in this case, $10, in cash), tape it to a bar of really fabulous dark chocolate before handing it to the teacher. That way the teacher is happier, and she can also choose to share the chocolate with the class occasionally. Studies show that the presence of very good dark chocolate in the studio reduces the incidence of meltdowns and crying jags among the workshop participants.|
