I noticed that the "artist's" so-called name is Jake Davies...a play on words/your name perhaps. Anything ne what knows your work would recognize the art.
not only should you get credit but it would be great if you got paid too and did they ask you first? I hope so and that they didn't just appropriate your art for their ad.
Wow. It was weird to see the guy take a marker to your painting, but they did make it very clear that it was your work. Loved seeing it on that classy ad.
How could they use your work without your permission, and pretend that that guy was the artist (since he signed the print for that woman)? That's not okay.
He is playing The Artist in the narrative. I'm delighted with this video! ON the Pixel's page they DO credit me and put a link to my Fine Art America page (Pixels is a division of FAA, or the other way around).
@Sona: I am compensated by the publicity. FAA/Pixels has the right to use my images for marketing and promotional purposes.
This is very lovely, but truly, publicity is not enough payment for this. As others have already said, it should be you in the commercial signing the painting. We all love your work and you should be compensated appropriately.

I have had some spam comments lately, advertising of stupid stuff. So I am moderating comments until I can figure out a better way to prevent spam. THANKS!
You do get credit for this as the artist, don't you? Please say yes!
ReplyDeleteThanks. On the PAGE, there is a note under the video saying it is my work, and there is a link to my page on FAA.
