I had an absolutely GREAT time at
The Queen's Ink in Savage, MD over the weekend, teaching three workshops. Patti Euler, the Queen herself, was a fabulous host, and took very good care of me while I was there. The students were art quilters, collage artists, book binders, mixed media artists, long-time customers of The Queen's Ink, painters, photographers, and more, each bringing her own skills and
perspective to the workshops. What a BLAST! Patti and I have scheduled more workshops for November 4, 5, and 6. Stay tuned!
Thanks for a wonderful book making workshop!
ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to participate in you Sunday collage class this past weekend. I LOVED it. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and vision. I'm still amped from everything absorbed in the class.
ReplyDeleteMy blog friend Marlynn took your class and she can't say enough on how much she enjoyed it. I would have loved to been there.
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks everyone! I really had such a good time, I can't wait to come back. Send me jpgs of your work - I love seeing collages and other creative endeavors by my readers and workshops participants. Also, please e-mail me with any questions, suggestions, constructive criticism, or anything else you have to offer.

Looks like another successful workshop, Jane. The pieces look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for coming to The Queen's Ink. I enjoyed and learned so much at the box-making class on Friday night. I'm planning to post my photos and thoughts on my blog, Pull of the Tides in a day or so with a plug for Queen's Ink and your own blog right here.
ReplyDeleteJane, Your class at the Queen's Ink was super! This was my first sewn book, and even though my book measurements were off, you helped me see how to fix it. So I've ordered some waxed linen thread & some needles and will happily add 3 more signatures.
ReplyDeleteI'm thrilled. I would love to be in another of your classes.
Happy days,
Joanie Hoffman
p.s. I am enjoying the Journey!
Hi Jane, my blog with four photos of my collage box is posted to Pull of the Tides. I am planning a new box for a friend's birthday gift. Thanks again for a fantastic workshop.
